Ronda magazine to dedicate publication to Costa Rica

The Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT) and the Iberia airline signed a destination promotion agreement a few months ago. Iberia is the airline that connected Costa Rica with Europe with a direct flight some four decades ago, connecting travelers on the San José-Madrid route from Barajas International Airport.

This July, the destination promotion campaign features various publications on Iberia’s official communication channels. The Ronda Iberia magazine is the most prominent of these, along with the airline’s social media profiles and website, www.iberia.com

According to ICT studies, Spanish tourists who visit Costa Rica stay for an average of 13 nights and spend some $198 per person per day. Observation of flora and fauna is a top choice that Spaniards enjoy (89%) as they travel through the regions of the country, as well as sun and beach activities (87%), seeing volcanoes (73%) and hiking (63%), among others.
