Aerobell Airlines will begin scheduled domestic flights
- Seven daily flights to different Costa Rican destinations
- Special launch rates beginning at $45
- Tobías Bolaños Palma International Airport in Pavas will be the base of operations
Aerobell Airlines will begin regular flights to various destinations around the country beginning on Tuesday, July 24. The company, boasting 30 years of charter flight experience in Costa Rica, has decided to begin scheduled flights due to the lack of such services on offer.
“We have noted that there is a scarcity of options in the area of scheduled flights, which is why we have decided to begin regular operations and contribute to the country’s development and the development of tourism”, said Marco Montealegre, CEO of Aerobell.
Aerobell Airlines will base its operations out of the terminal of Tobias Bolaños Palma International Airport in Pavas.
In the first phase of operations, Aerobell will offer daily flights to seven destinations around the country. It will begin using Cessna Grand Caravan planes with a capacity of 12 passengers, with its fleet incorporating four completely new Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft, equipped with the latest in aviation technology, in November.
The destinations served initially will be Tortuguero, Tamarindo, Tambor, Quepos, Drake Bay, La Fortuna, Arenal and Puerto Jiménez, with a launch special of $45 per trip. Further information can be found on the website www.aerobell.com, or by calling the information line at 4000-2030.
In the second phase, the operations will be expanded to destinations such as Liberia, Golfito and Bocas del Toro in Panama, among others.
“We are seeking to bring development and economic benefits to the communities around each of the destinations we will be operating to. Our vision is to offer a new, efficient and safe alternative for getting around the country”, Montealegre added.
The strategy Aerobell Airlines is seeking for its clients is based on providing added value and making a difference for domestic and international passengers, along with ensuring that different options are available on the market.
