 Introduction
The Caribbean stands out for its extraordinary natural richness and diversity, the exoticness of these elements and the diversity of products offered. It makes a variety of activities possible: sport fishing, boat tours, diving, surfing, hiking, turtle and bird watching, dolphin watching, horseback riding, sea and river kayaking, rural tourism, and much more.
Culture
The Costa Rican Caribbean has been characterized as a multicultural and multiethnic melting pot, in which the ancestral riches of the native peoples, European customs and heritage, Afro-Caribbean traditions and rhythms, as well as the experience and history of new immigrants converge within the Caribbean in a majestic and exuberant setting.
A wide range of tourist services are on offer: hotel and lodging options for all tastes, sodas and restaurants with local and international cuisine, travel agencies, tour operators, thematic activities, certified guides and tourist transportation.
In addition, the Caribbean is a destination to relax and improve mental and physical health, which is all the more important given the effects of the pandemic and the phenomenon of burnout, which is all too common in this fast-paced world. Limón has incredible biodiversity, unique natural environments and a solid and varied tourism offer, especially in the area of outdoor activities.
It also has good access by air, land and river channels. Banking and health services are easily accessible, as well as gas stations and more.
The province of Limón, in the Costa Rican Caribbean, is made up of six small and welcoming cantons: Limón, Guácimo, Matina, Talamanca, Pococí and Siquirres.
