Caribbean Botanical Garden (Guácimo)
The Caribbean Botanical Garden is an agrotourism park dedicated to the production, conservation and exhibition of plants, especially orchids. It is located in La Perla de Guácimo, 700 m south of the junction on Route 32. It has a large collection of orchids of more than 30 genera. These orchids are both domestic and foreign and come from countries such as Venezuela, Thailand, Brazil, Colombia, Philippines and Indonesia. Likewise, our orchid production is very extensive.
The Caribbean Botanical Garden has a network of 1.5 km of easily accessible trails. As you wander these trails, you can observe sloths, howler monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, tanagers, morpho butterflies, and more. The flora is varied and includes different heliconias, bromeliads, a vanilla plantation, tree ferns, exotic orchids, and more.
The entrance fee to our Garden is 3,500 colones for Costa Ricans and $10 for foreigners.

Figue’s Farm Trails and Los Montes Waterfall
At Figue’s Farm and Los Montes Trails and Waterfalls, we offer tours to two waterfalls. Our main activity is nature hiking: on our farm, you will find water springs, a creek, beautiful pools, tilapia ponds, a small farm and a restaurant specializing in local Caribbean food.

Admission: ¢4000 for Costa Ricans and $25 for foreigners. The admission fee includes parking and a guided tour through the trails. The route is a 5.5 km round trip, passing through several pools, a suspension bridge and two waterfalls that are on our farm.
Location: Las Colinas de Guácimo. The road is accessible for all vehicles, even for cyclists!!!! The trail route is easy/moderate.
Hours of operation: Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. Last admission: 3:00 p.m. Hours of operation are subject to weather conditions, since the climatic conditions of the humid tropics must be taken into account.
