  • Airline returns to the country after a pause of over one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Southwest Airlines, a US-based carrier, will restart its flights to Juan Santamaría and Daniel Oduber Quirós international airports beginning June 6, with daily flights from Houston, Texas to San José and Liberia, as well as a weekly route from Baltimore, Maryland to Guanacaste.
