The Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT) will participate in the Routes Americas meeting, which will be held in Quito, Ecuador on February 13-15. This activity brings together all of the airlines operating in the Americas, with the aim of providing a space for CEO interviews, discussion panels and information sessions for airlines.
"Without a doubt, Routes Americas is a very important event for the country, in which we'll have face-to-face contact with the main decision-makers at the airlines, airports and destinations in the region, with the aim of analyzing new market opportunities and the evolution of existing services. This effort is part of the strategy of attracting airlines that ICT is carrying forward, and the rewards of which we've begun to see, especially over the last three years", noted Hermes Navarro del Valle, director of Airline Attraction for the ICT.
Prior to the start of this important event, the organization has confirmed that it has a full agenda of meetings with airlines that are of interest to the country, including: Aeroméxico, Turkish Airlines, Air Transat, Viva Colombia, United, GOL Brasil, Delta, JetBlue, Air Canada, American Airlines, Southwest, Volaris, Alaska, and WestJet, among others.
Routes Americas connects the different destinations of the Americas with the most important decision makers, offering ample opportunities for networking. This allows for the creation of high-value relationships with some of the most influential aviation professionals of the entire region.
In addition to the representatives of the Costa Rican Tourism Board, delegations from the Juan Santamaría International Airport and the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport will also be in attendance, along with aviation advisors.
Over the three days of the event, CEO sessions, panel discussions and informational meetings for airlines will be held. Routes America will being together high-level speakers and will explore the challenges and opportunities for the region's aviation industry.
